K2 | 1 Leg Balance Test (Head Movement)

EXERCISE USE

This test is used for return to sport testing following an ACL surgery or knee surgery when you have instability - to see if you are ready for sport drills, training and then games or competing. By rotating the head left and right and moving it up and down, you cannot fix onto a still object to help your balance. This is important when playing sport where you are concentrating on a game play or opponent and need you knee stability to be 'automatic'.

Stand on one leg, with a slight bend in the anke, knee and hip. for 15sec, move you nead left and right to the beat of the metronome, moving left 1 sec then right 1 sec each until you complete 15sec. A pass is keeping you balance and not putting the other foot down.
