A2 | Single Leg Balance - Ball Throws

To improve single leg balance whilst doing hand-eye co-ordination drills following an ankle sprain, injury or instability

Demonstration and Instructions

Standing balanced on one leg with your pelvis level, throw a ball against a wall and catch it while maintaining your balance on one leg. You can also practice bouncing the ball on the floor, or throwing to a partner at different heights and speeds.

Special Notes
To progress start to throw the ball off center left and right so it forces you to go off-balance and work harder at the ankle to maintain balance. Progression is to do this on a BOSU
