K3 | Step Up


Single Leg loading for the knee, to advance the Step Down. This place more load into the knee joint, quadriceps and glutes as well as challenging knee and hip stability. Good for learning to reload the knee upstairs and climbing.

Instructions

Step forward onto a box with one leg, Adjust your hip position so it is level before you load onto the front leg. Keeping you knee in line with your foot, let your knee travel forward and step up raising your opposite leg. Balance and then slowly reverse the movement to step down. Make sure you don't let your knee roll in or opposite pelvis drop down.
